Crimson Healthcare was founded by Stanford India Biodesign alumni Fellows with an aim to address some of the pressing needs of ostomates using user centric approach. Our innovative products aim to reduce problems associated with ostomy and also improve lives of millions of people living with intestinal ostomy.

Our innovation targets the physiological, behavioral and emotional problems associated with ostomy and apathy of present ostomy-care solutions (i.e. Ostomy pouch/bag). The ostomy pouches are leaky and smelly, and they don’t really address the fundamental problem which is the absence of bowel continence, but instead, intend to manage the condition passively by collecting the stool outside the body. 

We aim to help ostomates gain control over their stool evacuations and restore normalcy in their life.
